A Little About Us
Lakeya R. Collins is the Owner of Robert's Angels Scrubs+.
She is a Registered Nurse who is currently studying to become a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
The idea of Robert's Angels Scrubs arose after the tragic drowning of Lakeya's 16 year old son Robert in 2016.
Robert was a honor student and a stellar football player, he was #29.
Robert had hopes of becoming a Physician.
Lakeya spent the first 2 years after the loss of her son trying to survive the unimaginable grief. She then turned to her strong Christian background in hopes of turning her pain into purpose.
Lakeya recalled how Robert enjoyed ironing her scrubs prior to her going to work.
She chose to honor his memory in hopes that others who are enduring loss and tragedy will hear her story and find comfort in knowing there is a rainbow after every storm.
Lakeya has two surviving children, Alyse and Bryce. In 2018 she wrote her inspiring autobiography, All Is Not Lost.
She is also lobbying for a new bill called Robert's Law to protect our children at Georgia Public Lakes.
"We intend to mobilize hope and champion for the display of Christ's love."
The mission of Robert's Angels' Scrubs+ is to strengthen determination in the face of adversity through faith in the promise of God's restoring grace, mercy, and love.
Often tragedy leaves lasting scars, but here at Robert's Angels, we have found power amid the pain.
With the sale of each set of scrubs, we intend to mobilize hope and champion for the display of Christ's love through the provision of person-centered, heartfelt healthcare.
